Reporting A Crime

We must take responsibility for defending our homes. We are the "First Force" . Working together we can expel the miscreants!

At the end of the day, protecting our homes and our families and defending our streets against the lawless/mindliess and criminal minority is down to us. It is we who are at the front line and it is we who have to suffer the problmes. Governements come and go, so do police officers and police policies. But this is where we live and so we must help ourselves.

Here are some tips on how to defend your home:

1, Always laise with your neighbour when youy are going away.
2. Ensure that you cancel milk and newspapers when you go away.
3. Never leave windows open  when you are out.
4. Consider having blinds fitted to all downstairs windows- it is harder for a burglar to look in and see if anyone is hme or if there is anything to steal easily accessible.
5. Similarly blinds at the windows and potted plants deter criminals- they are looking for quick and unfetterd access- things like this are an obstacle and incovenience, it slows them down.
6. Never have keys or wallets on view from any window.
7. Keep your keys out of sight or reach of any door or window.
8. When you have a tradesan in always try to check their id, get references etc. Have strict rules about how they operate re. security.
9,. Have outdoor security lights fitted.
10. Have timed lighht appliances when you are out, these can be triggered to go on and off on different rooms at intevals.
11. Have window locks fitted.
12. Have a web cam fitted to your computer linked to a door alarm
